What We Repair:
While after accident repairs are most common, any of the following symptoms are fixed with our service:
- Seat belt is jammed
- Seatbelt is locked
- Seat belt is blown
- Safety belt not retracting
- Seat belt is retracting slowly
- Seat belt is makinga a rattling noise
- Airbag light is on / illuminated
- Pretensioner resistance too high
- Pretensioner resistance too low
- Open Circuit in Seat Belt Tensioner
- Open Circuit in Seat Belt Pretensioner
The type and price of the seat belt repair is determined by the number of gas charge ignitors in the seat belt assembly. This is easily identified by the wire plugs that are going into the seat belt. If your seat belt has 1 wire plug connector, then you have a single-stage seat belt. If your seat belt has 2 wire plug connectors or 2 separate parts to it such as the retractor and a an anchor pretensioner, then you have a dual-stage seat belt. We repair both types from all makes & models!
Airbag Light Reset
Anytime there is a fault related to the seat belts after an accident or crash, your airbag light will go on. This is because the airbag system has stored codes related to the seat belt and is alerting you to address the problem! Fortunately, once you repair your seat belts - the airbag light will reset automatically. However, if your airbags deployed, then you will also need to reset your SRS module. This is another service we offer, clearing all crash data hard codes after accident. If the Airbag Light is on, this may cause the Safety Restraint System in the car to be disabled. Stay safe and get the issues addressed as soon as possible.
