SRS Airbag Module Reset

If your airbag is/was deployed, we provide SRS airbag module reset services to erase all crash data hard codes found in your ACM. This service requires you to remove your airbag computer and mail it in to us for reset. No need to purchase a new SRS module from the dealer and no programming via OBD is needed so you save hundreds of dollars!

This repair service will clear any seat belt related airbag codes and faults such as “communications error”, “crash data stored”, "airbags deployed" and others.

This service is different than anything a reset tool can perform. Usually, an OBD airbag scanner can only read the codes. Some can erase soft codes, but none can erase crash data. A dealer may tell you need a new airbag computer module and charge extra to program it to your vehicle's VIN. Our module reset service requires no programming once reset and costs pennies compared to what you would pay at the dealer for a new module.

We do not use micro chips or any aftermarket methods to bypass the airbag system.

Eeprom Programming & Diagnostics

We take a unique approach to resetting SRS airbag modules. First, we perform a full diagnosis to determine what crash data and fault codes need to be erased and if they can reprogrammed safely. If the test is a success, we will proceed to reprogram the faulty airbag module to factory condition, erasing all crash data and hard codes. We may connect directly to the eeprom chip, MAC, MCU or other memory device to access the codes. Our experienced programmers will get this job done properly and you will receive your SRS module back ready to be installed in your vehicle.

How to Remove the SRS Airbag Module

All modules are usually located under the center console and can be accessed by removing the trim around. The best point of access is to the right of the accelerator pedal, or directly in between the front seats. It is very important to always have the battery disconnected when removing the module. It is also crucial that you mount the module securely at all times. Not doing so, may deploy the airbags as every SRS unit is equipped with a rollover sensor.
